1. Review the San Francisco Homestay^® Types and Prices to determine your choice of homestay.
   
2. Fill out the Online Application and press Send to submit it. All information is important, so please answer all questions. Make sure you provide your credit card information for the non-refundable placement fee.
3. When we receive your application and your placement fee, we immediately look for a suitable host for you. This process can last from just a few hours to a few days. When a host has been found, we immediately let you know and provide you with detailed information about the home. This is when we charge your placement fee to your credit card. At this point the placement fee is not refundable. There is no charge if we are not able to find a host because we are fully booked and we have no available homestay for you.

To Reserve Your Homestay Placement

When you are confirmed in a home, your first payment covering 2 to 10 weeks will be due prior to checking-in to the home. Your confirmation will let you know when it is due and how to send us your payment. If staying longer than 7 weeks, you will prepay for 4 weeks and a bill for the remainder of your stay will be mailed to your homestay home. This pre-payment will reserve your room for you.

If, for any reason, you must cancel or postpone your homestay, please inform us 4 weeks in advance by email, phone or fax.

Important: Please Plan Ahead

Please send your application and placement fee at least 4 weeks in advance of your arrival. We must allow time for us to receive your fees and to find an appropriate homestay for you. We cannot process your application until we receive your placement fee. You can check in only after we have received your prepayment of 2 to 10 weeks of homestay, 12 weeks if you elect to enroll in the SAVE program using the Special Offers. If you cannot allow this much time, arrangements must be made to courier your fees to us using "next day" service.
